Konica Hexar AF Silver

這台機本來就叫 Hexar, 後來 Konica 又推出了 Hexar RF, 就有人改稱為 Hexar AF, 也有叫銀色的為 Hexar Silver, 黑色的叫 Hexar Black … 等. 當年網友 Ken 敗了 Hexar AF, 而我也正在找一台自動的輕便機, 認識了 Hexar AF, 一直都被毒得心癢難忍, 最終也敗下了一台銀色的 …

以下整理了一些敗機前網上蒐集的資料, 加了點使用感想.

Hexar 的版本

Hexar 1992 年推出, 網上得到的資料 Hexar 有六個版本: Black (Original), Classic, Rhodium, Gold, Titanium, Silver.

因為 silent mode 好像侵犯了某種專利, 最後推出的 Silver 版本, 預設除掉了這個神奇的功能. 網上二手以 Black 和 Silver 版本比較常見, 也就是比其他的特別版廉價一些.

後來台灣傳出了 Silver 版本激活 silent mode 的秘技 (還有黑版升級秘技), 所以現在要選擇黑版或銀版, 看喜歡那個版的外形就可以了.

外型/功能

自動對焦/曝光, 不能換鏡頭, 應該是一部高級的傻瓜機. 可是因為 Hexar 的體型過於巨大, 沒什麼人把它當傻瓜機看待. 它的體積比 Contax G1 略大, 不過重量很輕, 也可以稱作輕便相機.

Hexar 搭配一個 35mm f2.0 鏡頭 (不可換), 最小光圈 f22 (很慶幸它有這麼小的光圈), 聽過有人把這個鏡頭比 Leica 八妹喔 … 我可沒八妹, 只略嫌 Hexar 的這個鏡頭立體感不夠.

快門從 30 秒到 1/250 (這解釋了我為什麼慶幸它有 f22 小光圈..), 有 T 快門. 有 P, A, M 三種操作模式. 半按快門同時鎖定對焦和曝光 (可惜沒有獨立的 AEL). 自動讀取菲林 DX iso 數值, 也可以自設 iso. 有重覆曝光功能.

因為我沒用過它的閃燈, 所以對閃燈不太了解. 請參閱最後的幾個網址.

Hexar 有幾個很獨特的功能, 能毒死不少人.

首先最特別的是 silent mode. 如果在開機的同時按住 MF 按鈕, 就能啟動 silent mode. 在這個模式下, 對焦/過片時馬達的速度會減慢, 從而降低聲響, 而且只要你拍後一直按著快門, 直到你鬆手它才會過片, 可能會適合某種場合吧. 而它的快門已經是很輕的了, 在 slient mode 下拍攝, 往往按下了快門還要看 lcd 的菲林數增加了沒有才知道真的拍了. 當初我看到網友這麼說也以為誇張了, 但我在寧靜的公園裡試機後發現, 沒有誇大咧.

第二個是它的 P mode. 這個模式預設了一個安全快門值, 預設在 1/30 秒, 可以自設在 1/4 ~ 1/60 秒間 (黑機可能最慢是 1/8). 只要快門值比安全快門快, 那就光圈先決, 如果比安全快門慢, 則是以安全快門先決. 如果超出光圈/安全快門極限, viewfinder 內會閃燈警告, 不過還會讓你拍.

第三個是 viewfinder 內的景框 (frameline) 會隨著對焦距離而移動, 同時可看到對焦的距離. 我很喜歡這個設計, 因為 silent mode 下是聽不到對焦聲響的, 要看這個景框的移動來確定已經對焦.

第四個是倒片/中途倒片時, 當 lcd 上的數字倒數到 0, 它會暫停幾秒 (兩三秒左右吧, lcd 上會閃爍), 此時打開機背取出來的菲林是留尾的. 如果暫停期間不打開機背, 暫停過後就會繼續捲片, 此後取出的菲林就不留尾了.

第五個是測光模式, P 和 A 模式下是用中央重點式 (centerweighted averaging metering) 測光, 而 M 模式下則自動換成點測光模式 (spot metering). 我覺得這個設計也很體貼, M 模式是多時應付複雜光源才用的, 那當然要用點測了.

可以看出這些功能都很體貼懂攝影的人, Konica 真的花了不少心思在這機的功能設計上.

秘技

Hexar 有不少密技, 這可能要歸咎於它使用手冊的編排實在是爛透.

激活銀版的 silent mode: 出處: http://blog.yam.com/ottohsu/archives/10940.html 注: 我的銀版是跟著這個來激活 silent mode 的, 應該沒有問題.

  1. 在關機狀態下，把光圈鈕轉到F22。
  2. 開機，按下「SELECT」鍵，機頂液晶螢幕顯示「 /-0.0」
  3. 再按下「SELECT」鍵，機頂液晶螢幕顯示「[0]」
  4. 關機再開機（此時進入ROM），機頂液晶螢幕顯示「[0]」
  5. 此時請按以下順序按「加減光鈕」，機頂液晶螢幕會一直顯示「[0]」　「右一下，左二下，右三下，左四下，右三下，左二下，右一下」　此時機頂 液晶螢幕顯示「232」
  6. 調整光圈鈕，從原本的F22到F13（就是F11和F16的中間），機頂液晶螢幕顯示「A」
  7. 再按「加減光鈕」，按到讓機頂液晶螢幕顯示「A[00]」
  8. 調整光圈鈕，從原本的F13到F16，機頂液晶螢幕顯示「D[22]」
  9. 再按「加減光鈕」，按到讓機頂液晶螢幕顯示「D[FA]」
  10. 關機，機頂液晶螢幕顯示「f16」 １１按快門鍵2秒鐘，直到機頂液晶螢幕顯示的「f16」消失 [完成]

注: 有些功能要某些版本才有. 除了多重曝光, 其他我沒用過, 所以不翻譯了 :p

# Multi-exposure
* switch from Off to P-mode while pressing SELF
* the display will show 0 left of number of shot, e.g. 0[03]
* with each exposure, the left number increases, e.g. 1[03], 2[03] etc..
* switch to Off, and the film is transported to the next frame.
* more than 9 exposures are possible, but not indicated.
# Manual selection of flash guide number
* switch from Off to P-mode while pressing SELECT
* keep pressing SELECT and use UP/DOWN for GN selection
* when releasing SELECT, camera displays [PFl].
* switch to Off, and the selection is deleted.
* when required GN number is not available, select nearest lower number, e,g. GN24 not available, then select GN23.
# Infrared auto focus
* load film, and switch camera on (P, A, or M mode)
* IR film is non DX, so requires pressing the shutter release button to advance to frame 1.
* switch to A mode, then press SELECT until ISO values are displayed. Within 3 secs, press DOWN untill [—] is shown. press MF once to display [750] (corresponding to Konica IR750 film) press MF twice to display [850] (corresponding to Kodak’s 850 film) (the numbers correspond to the wavelength the films are sensitive for)
* after 3 secs, the display will show [iso 100], acknowledging successful setting of IR value.
* for correct exposure, consult the data sheet of the film.
# Fast exposure setting (fast related to setting, not exposure!)
* select aperture in M-mode.
* partially press shutter release button.
* display shows proper shutter time.
* press UP or DOWN, and that time is selected. This allows for a very quick spotmetering. When now the composition is changed, including DOF, the measured time still is used.
# Auto-bracketing
* switch to M-mode and press SELECT until [+/- 0.0] is shown.
* use UP/DOWN to select increment, from 1/3 to 2 stops.
* when pressing shutter release, three exposures are taken.

用後感

Hexar 是一部很好的機, 有好的鏡頭, 對焦快, 很輕的快門, 令人驚嘆的 silent mode, 體貼的自動化設計.

缺點是體積大, 絕不能插進褲袋. 最快快門只有 1/250, 常要操心該用多少 iso 的菲林.
