watched two great conj 2026 talks:

destructuring and selectors update are in 1.13.0-alpha*, I don't have time to upgrade it yet, but really exicting to try it out after watched the talk

playwright to use local chrome instead of install chromium:

with sync_playwright() as p:
    browser = p.chromium.launch(
        channel="chrome",
        headless=True,
        args=["--disable-blink-features=AutomationControlled"],
    )

it creates and uses temporary user profile in system temp

interesting ideas:

reading an old book Closure: The Definitive Guide

js interop is ugly, that's why I prefer (gdom/getElement "app") than (.getElementById js/document "app")

there're also some other ways to write clojurescript like: squint, cherry and choq

took a couple of days to finish watching Lawrence of Arabia, there's a lot of background to fill in, so start by reading A Peace to End All Peace
